Beautifully done! Beautifully done indeed.

Hello! And Good evening!
This your host; HaroFreak again reviewing here at the animations!

Juding from the movie and its content, this is no doubt a Rockman animation related to the 21XX Saga or better known as the "X" series. THe movie includes not only Official Capcom characters but even original characters of your own which make appearances in your comics on Iragination, ranging from the rookie hunter Delia ("Who are you Calling a Rookie huh?" *Smashes My Head*), to the Headhunter Necro!

Well; proceeding on to my impressions!

Your graphics were presumably done by ink then scanned (As some images were from the comics). Or you have drawn them by either using a Stylus interface or by mouse. Either way; your images were not only sharp, accurate and beautiful, but also captures the characters near perfectly.

Your music was taken from the Rockman X5 Title Theme and the animation has beautifully blended into it. As for synchronising; it was still a beautiful job done.

The style might come similar to many intros of the X series (X4 and X5 to be specific), but to have made one to call your own is magnificent.

You might wonder why Humour has dropped. But this being the darkest of all the Rockman storylines, I only sense small traces of Humour to come; Small, compared to the great darkness of Zero's multiple deaths, the Irregular Virus Outbreak and X being all between the chaos.

For a closing few sentences. This animation is beautifully animated and shows how much potential you have (Your potential needs not to be proven anyway, for your drawings are beautiful... But oh well).

I bid you good luck on your future projects. This is HaroFreak, signing off.

I only have enough attention to say: WOW...

Well, not really. But anyway. *What? I'm online now?!* *AHEM*

Hello and good evening. This is HaroFreak at the reviews counter.

The graphics here are amazing. The blurring makes for effective motion effects and dramatic moves performed by the characters. On the other hand, some of the soldiers seem a bit two-dimensional. But that's not enough to ruin the beauty of this!

The sound is a very interesting touch to the animation. Very synchronised, very dramatic and very effective; most importantly. The voices not only clear but the script is well written indeed.

The style... Despite how over-used it might have been in the previous years on NG, the style here is just beautifully remodelled not only with building-to-building battles, but also with a great cliffhanger in the end.

The violence element is mostly the fighting. But assuming that being kicked down causes short circuits mean those soldiers were robots of course. But I still sympathise for the robot-deaths (Too much Rockman X for me, perhaps?).

In general, this is indeed a movie which I would expect some great sequels out of. Beautifully done; Adam. And keep up the good work.

This is HaroFreak signing out, and good night.

Dearest HaroFreak, thanks so much for your review! I love how your reviews are so in-depth and analyse all aspects of a movie! Glad you liked everything, this was my first real non-stick movie, thus was a breaking away from sticks for me, and a stepping stone in my animation style. Nice work realising the Soldier 01's were robots, that they are indeed. I'll be looking forward to your feedback for the other Episodes as well!

Very well made indeed.

Hello and Good evening. HaroFreak reviewing at the scene.

This animation is a Parody of the show Neon Genesis Evangelion. Sporting both puns and jokes directed to the show and its series.

The graphics are amazingly fluent and sports excellent implementation of its strings and object tweening. Colours are accurate and the transparency is near-excellent.

The music of choice is great. Each theme blends into the next at near-perfect accuracy. And the synchronising between Graphics and Sound was well timed. I can tell that the quality control is tight from seeing how accurate things are.

There is a great deal of style as the puns from Evangelion was literalised with the "Reis" being the puppets. Almost no one would think of such an idea; So I guess I would add more to your score for being unique.

Humour is MASSIVE for this animation; partly being a greatly made parody to behold. Ranging from the Reis dancing to the music to Gendoh being drawn insanely.

In summary; This has been another great parody made. You have my support and I await your next parody!

A great Intro remade into a Flash animation!

Hello again, Sir McPherson. This is HaroFreak reviewing here Live (Well, not so "Live", but anyways...) from upon indirect request.

Being an Anime otaku myself, I am sure that this is the official Shin Getter Opening, only that is Hand-Drawn by you.

The overall graphics were excellent in terms of accuracy. Despite the fact that it might have lacked some details or it looked Too Bulgy in some places, it was too minor to ruin the great Dynamic feel of the overall animation.

The Music was BEAUTIFUL, me being a 70-90s robot fan myself, I loved the way your animation synchronised with the music.

The style was not-too-great as it gave the feeling that it was mostly ripped from the actual animation, drawn on top of and made into a Frame-by-Frame animation (Which takes up a lot fo bandwidth). But putting originality aside, the remake is what made you deserve those points.

The Humour is that it somehow gave a "Primitive" Go Nagai feel which reminds me so much of the old times... Not that I was born then, but anyways...

In general, this Animation was a beautiful remake. If the images were not so polygonial and was given a bit more Background detail, it would have been flawless. Of course; it still an excellent animation.

Side Note: It startled you when you saw a Getter-Related animation on the portal huh? This kind of stuff is not-so-common compared to other stuff. Let's see if we can find a joint project to do huh?

This is HaroFreak; Also known as Andrew Yau; Signing off! *Beep*

(No, NOT Logging out! Signing out!)

A newbie shall get what a newbie deserves...

Good evening here; HaroFreak reporting from beyond vacation.

Like all my decent reviews, I would go through each point one by one.

Your 3rd Dimension modelling is well implemented and it shows that some good time has been put into making it. A drawback might be that the super-imposed Stick Figures which tend to be "transparent" where they are not supposed to be. Draw their heads in opague or fill their heads in with their respective colour and it should be better.

Your music and timing for sound effects has been well-timed and chosen, so nothing to comment too much on...

Style and Violence might be a bit lower in score partly because many scenes like this one have been common in many flash movies here on Newgrounds. But I would give you credit anyway for being a newbie (Or so you say).

All the other statistics are abundant since you focused more on other factors.

All in all; This flash movie has by far looked promising for any upcoming flash movies of yours. If you are to submit anything, make sure it's the best you can get it... And accept constructive criticism like mine; You might learn something useful to help you go from Newbie to Veteran shortly! Don't disappoint us, you have given a decent pre-archive flash movie for us (Consider it like a resume') and I am sure you can improve.

'ey! I like this.

Good evening, this is HaroFreak reviewing from beyond the network.

Unlike your later joing submission, this one captures the Gundam Wing "Feel" much better. And as a reviewer, It is my job to look deeper into it.

Your graphics in general are full of decency and depth. The only real thing which makes the movie not "Feel" right is the Stick Figure Pilot. Which looks a tad akward (When compared to a full Width Pilot). Your Aries Mobile Suit might look better with moving limbs (But I understand how hard it is to manipulate layers to do it). But, the special effects are nicely done.

Your music, despite it not being Gundam Related, is still made to fit your Flash Movie, which has been done well by you alone. It is amazing how it was done, since I personally cannot do that myself...

Style might be a tad lower, partly because this method was of common practise in Newgrounds.

The other statistics are not much to wander about since they make little significance to the animation.

As a closing sentence;

Keep it up. Lay off the non-related profanity and you shall continue to make better animations.

*Sigh* Hypocritical...

Good evening, thisis HaroFreak responding to the Video Game bloopers. And by responding; I mean reviewing.

We, of all people, know that all Video Game Bloopers are meant to be similar to the real thing. Sadly, this is not the case for your movie.

Let's analyse some of the flaws which might have been avoided to improve the movie, shall we?

1. There has been much un-necesessary transparency especially within the whites of the eyes, which just makes the quality of the movie alone poor. If more time was spent looking for graphical flaws, then I guess the movie can look better.

2. Some of the animation is seemingly (Sorry for my Blasphemy) lousy due to the over-use of poor perspective drawing. With better perspective, the movie shall look much better.

3. The art in overall is a disgrace. Most of the pictures failed to capture their original counterparts due to detail-lacking, twisted perspective and ineffective use of motion tweening. This applys strongly to Link, Mario and Sonic.

4. Proper spelling helps, trust me. If you give a public warning, give it properly. "What the hell is a helmutz?!" I might hear at some point. I understand your intentions, but still...

5. You failed to give credit to Nintendo and Sega for using their characters, no matter how much of a parody they are, credit is still necessary.

Before giving the curtain close, I have a quick comment of my own:

"NegativeClock, you are quite like me. One that enjoys constructive criticism to improve in the future. Well, guess what? You get your wish of criticism. See you around."

First Flash Eh? More like...

The first glimpse of a potential flash artist!

Oh, my apologies. Good evening, my identity is HaroFreak.

On another blam/protect trip in the Portal, I came across your movie. And... Here I go:

The graphics of your "Motrix" (Mariotrix, I initially thought) are decently implemented, partiucularily the after-images. The Luigis (sic) are no exception to the additional graphics. My only complaint is the constrain of making many animations using only one sprite. I believe you can improve on it in the future.

Your sound... well. Not too much to compliment about it. You put in a sound file. No speical stuff, no flashy dramatics, no confusion!

Despite how small your filesize is (Which is a good thing, I promise. Since you kept the file small for all animations), I suggest you add a pre-loader since not everyone has Broadband. Heck; Not everyone's Modulator Demodulators (MoDem, for Short) exceeds 48.8k!! Snag one from the Portal page and follow its instructions. It would fit just fine.

Style and the other properties of your movie are not much to mention. All along the so-so boundary. Nothing too "Capturing" about any of those properties.

Well, in summary; It is a nice cute little remake of the "Matrix Reloaded" battle scenes using "Mario Bros." characters. If you other people out there are reading this review, trust me, this movie is worth a shot if you're willing to see how much untapped potential this "Flasher" has.

Spriter responds:

Thanks for that amazing review and comments! I appreciate it and in the future, I will use more than one sprite :P

Amazing... Just like in live movies!

Good evening, this is HaroFreak reviewing,

I have stumbled across your flash movie quite some time ago, but only got to now that I can show my feelings about this (And because I did not have much time).

Your graphics are amazingly implemented. I had no idea that "Kung Fu" can emulate the actual fighting style I use in my place. Now I know.

The sound was all realistic and again, well implemented right to the end.

The humour was high all in all, partly because of the sudden "Bitchange" which was actually used in great succession! Well done for that.

Style, Violence and interactivity. All along the So-so range, but it is beacuse pixellated blood is not so catchy as actual stuff like your sequels.

Oh well, there is always a first.

All in all, this movie is a "Simple, Thrilling, Funny, Action-Packed, Well-Made, Focused and AWESOME movie to behold. Well done.

This is THE Rockman Tribute

Second to none skill in mouseart Flash Animation. It is amazing how much someone can do with the Flash Program, and your submission is no exception.

The graphics are top notch and darwn with style, but lost a mark because the... Ah heck. It's perfect for what it is.

The music has been perfectly synchronised with the Animation which appeals greatly to viewers particularily Anime Freaks such as myself.

Style here is totally unique as far as I can see and with reference to the Music x Graphics, it has been well implemented by you.

As for Humour, Interactivity and Violence... I was mostly stunned for most of the movie to be laughing or sick, as I was knocked away by the awesome "Darkness" of the 30XX era.

If you are working on the game (Which I have a beta of), then I wish you the best of luck.
